Hello ! Thanks for vising this page.

This page is about my experiences in Japan which are personal; some positive some not so much.  I am happy if you feel informed or gain something from them.
I am a long term resident of Japan and kind of between two vastly different worlds.  It is not easy to make sense of many things but sharing one’s perspective can be very useful.  I believe both positive and negative experiences can contribute towards better understanding for everybody.

I dedicate this page to my mother Vijayalakshmi who was my hero and my teachers who have guided me in my life.
I have been meaning to write this for some time but kept putting it off, again and again. I realised that is because I forgot to take the permission of Ganesha, the Hindu God with an elephant’s face.  Ganesha is the lord of obstacles in the Hindu lore and it is believed if one prays to Ganesha before embarking on a task, he will remove all obstacles.  So here is goes.

I am writing this to share my experiences in Japan and stories from my home land.
